The Dale City Track League (DCTL) is gearing up for the 2011 Spring Season (April). We have received a lot of inquiries from parents and students this year intersted in participating. However, we are in need of COACHES this season. There is no requirement to be a former track star, just the willingness to work with youth and provide a positive and fun environment to assist in their development of good sportsmanship, athletic ability, and character. DCTL is designed to introduce kids of all abilities to sprint and distance running and field events.
Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering as a Coach. In addition, parents willing to serve as administrative staff are always welcomed. The success of our program is due to the dedication of our athletes, the commitment of our coaches and the strong participation of our parent volunteers.
More information regarding the start of the season will be provided once the coaching staff is confirmed.
